Kids Feeding Kids is a turnkey, real-world-learning curriculum module designed to educate students about the causes of food insecurity and to provide students the opportunity to prepare and distribute healthy meals to families in their community. Funded by the 15 and Mahomes Foundation and Lucky International Trading Inc., Kids Feeding Kids program has expanded from the Kansas City area to reach students all over the state. Chef Diane Mora visited the Northwest Technical School Culinary Arts class two days to educate and work with students in the kitchen to prepare meals for Eugene Field Elementary’s Backpack Buddies Program.
