Northwest Technical School will use the money received to upgrade tool sets and equipment in their Technical and Industrial classes. Northwest Technical School doesn’t have a specific wind energy program, but the transferable skills that students gain in the many project - based learning programs prepare students well, and give them a good starting point at Vestas if hired. Currently 6 students that completed programs at NTS are working for Vestas Wind Energy – Maryville, MO location.
