Vestas maintains and services the Tenaska Wind Farm north of Maryville. Northwest Tech Welding Program students were able to partner on several welding projects with Vestas during initial construction and continue the working relationship. Vestas recently donated $1,000 to the NTS SkillsUSA career and technical student organization. The funds will be used to support student leadership and competition events.
